Urbana City Schools vision is to ensure that our students are able to demonstrate a mastery of predetermined outcomes in the humanities as well as in the academic areas of mathematics, language/communications, science, reading, technical skills and problem solving. Urbana City Schools Curriculum supports this vision through its planned content, materials, resources, activities, and instructional strategies.
Urbana City Schools initiatives include Project Based Learning, Literacy Collaborative Framework, the Ohio Improvement Process, ALEKS- Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces, and PBIS- Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports.
