Urbana City Schools is seeking qualified individuals for the positions of substitute bus drivers, substitute bus aides & substitute custodians
Requirements for all bus drivers are being able to pass a drug test & drivers physical, have a clean driving record, have clean FBI & BCI background checks, a valid driver's license for more than 2 years, a high school diploma, can work with children of all ages and is 21 years or older. A CDL is required for this job, if you do not have a CDL then training is provided to obtain a CDL and all proper certification to drive a school bus by the district.
Requirements for all bus aides & custodians is to have a clean FBI & BCI background check, a high school diploma and can work with children of all ages and is 18 years or older.
Substitute positions can also lead up to full time positions within the department. Flexible hours, good pay rate, summers off, friendly working environment & smiling faces of the future are all perks of the job.
