Project Based Learning

What is Project Based Learning?

The Project Based Learning (PBL) Framework prepares students for academic, personal, and career success, and readies young people to rise to the challenges of their lives and the world they will inherit.PBL requires critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and various forms of communication. To answer a Driving Question and create high-quality work, students need to do much more than remember information. They need to use higher-order thinking skills and learn to work as a team. We use Project Based Learning:

- to prepare our students for the 21st Century rapid changes
- to create real world, problem-solving opportunities for learning
- to increase student engagement
- to give students learning opportunities at high depth of knowledge levels
