What is ALEKS- Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces?


ALEKS is an Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces is a Web-based, artificially intelligent assessment and learning system. 
ALEKS uses adaptive questioning to quickly and accurately determine exactly what a student knows and doesn't know in a course. 
ALEKS then instructs the student on the topics she is most ready to learn.

We use ALEKS Grades 3-12                                                                   

- to provide a snapshot of student growth in math
- to determine student's current ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development) in math- what they know, what they don't know, and what they are ready to learn next. 
- to provide practice for student's in their ZPD
