Urbana City Schools welcomed teachers and staff back to the district this week as educators gathered for inservice and prepared for the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

The district’s back-to-school inservice provides staff members an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, review important information, collaborate, and focus on the work ahead.

The start of a new school year is always filled with excitement and anticipation. For Urbana educators, these opening days are a chance to come together as a team and prepare to welcome students back into classrooms.
