Three Urbana FFA members were recognized at the National FFA Convention on Saturday morning, receiving one of the highest honors in the organization.

Sam Wilhelm, Kianna Gsell and Bryce Stambaugh, all Urbana alumni, received the American FFA Degree, which is awarded to fewer than 2% of FFA members nationwide.

The degree recognizes members for their leadership, community involvement and commitment to agricultural education through their supervised agricultural experiences. Recipients must meet rigorous requirements that reflect years of involvement and dedication.

Urbana City Schools congratulates Sam, Kianna and Bryce on this distinction and their contributions to the FFA program.
