School Resource Officer (SRO) Ervin recently spent time reading books to multiple kindergarten classes, giving students an opportunity to enjoy a story while building positive connections with their school resource officer.

Reading aloud helps encourage early literacy, sparks imagination, and creates opportunities for students to engage with stories and ask questions. Visits like these also help students build familiarity and trust with the adults who help keep their school safe.
