Every home game, the field is ready for the Hillclimbers, with crisp lines, sharp logos, and every detail in place before the lights come on. Behind that finished product are Ryan Lantz, Blake King, and Pat Petty, who have spent years making sure the field was prepared and looking its best.

Much of their work happened behind the scenes and long before the crowd arrived. Measuring, lining, painting, touching up, and paying attention to the small details took time, experience, and dedication. Their work became a familiar part of preparing for home games and an important part of the game-day experience for students, athletes, families, and fans.

Even with the addition of a field-painting robot, there is still a human touch behind getting the field ready. Their years of experience and pride in the work helped ensure that the field was ready for the Hillclimbers each week.

Thank you for your years of service, dedication, and for all you have done to make game day special at Urbana City Schools. We appreciate you!

Go Hillclimbers!
